What We Do

Quality information is vital for companies to make sound business decisions. In an industry where quality information is not always readily available, Commodity Insight Africa provides an information service on Sub-Saharan Africa commodities. We cover economic and fundamental market conditions, including prices. We also alert our clients to political and other factors that may affect their exposure in commodity trading, financing, investing, production and processing.

Our Clients

Banks, traders, importers/exporters, investors, asset managers and the wider agricultural industry. Where possible, we tailor our services to the specific needs of our clients.

How Do We Source Information

We have established a sound network of contacts across Sub-Saharan Africa over the past ten years. In our efforts to enhance and confirm the reliability of the information we provide, we continuously source new contacts in each country. Our experience provides us with a good understanding of the correlation of commodity prices between neighbouring countries, given certain circumstances. This adds to the quality and reliability of our information.
